The Wired Church book comes with an included CD-ROM. The purpose of the CD is to demonstrate and provide tips and techniques for the concepts of the book. The book and CD are created in the style of the "Dummies" books (our computer man came out before Microsoft's!).
Because the application in which the disc was published no longer exists, many owners of the The Wired Church: Making Media Ministry book are unable to run the included CD-ROM on their computer's current operating systems.
To ensure that Wired Church book owners are able to experience the CD as we intended, and as a way to offer its contents to our web community, we have re-produced the exact CD-ROM in its entirety here. You don't need to own a copy of the book to run the CD. It's our free training opportunity for everyone interested.
To experience the CD properly, you will need the latest version of QuickTime installed, which may be obtained at http://www.quicktime.com. Also, a high-speed internet connection is recommended for viewing- at the minimum, a DSL or cable modem connection. Please be patient, as some clips take a while to download. Only click video links once, then allow for a brief period of download time.
