Jason Moore of Midnight Oil will be conducting pre-conference and conference workshops for the New England School of Congregational Development.
Workshops include:
(pre-conference add $50) Worship That Sticks: The Art of Communicating the Gospel in Worship:
Wouldn’t it be great if every worship service we create could live on well past the weekend? The best way to drive worshipers toward personal faith development and world changing mission is to engage them in creative worship that is deep and meaningful. In this workshop, we’ll look at practical, easy to implement strategies for creating “sticky worship”.
Taking Flight With Creativity: Worship Design Teams That Work
The tendency in the church is to plan worship in a siloed approach; planning every aspect of worship as individuals. The result is worship that feels disconnected and that fails to live up to its potential. Creating truly mission-centered worship that drives participants deeper in their faith takes a creative approach that is the result of a collaborative process.
In this workshop designed for pastors, musicians, media ministers and other creatives, participants will be led through an exploration of what it looks like to design worship as a team. The workshop will also identify a series of obstacles that keeps sincere, hard working people grounded, and the solutions for how to get worship design teams in the air.
5 Questions Your Visitors are Thinking But Won’t Ask
Church visitors experience worship in ways that are vastly differently than regular attendees. In this workshop, you’ll learn the top 5 questions on the minds of your visitors, and how to address them.

Are the sessions at Church of the Resurrection Leadership Institute the same information as your Day 2 Training when you do your own workshops?

A little different – some of the same material, some different. What often happens at COR’S LI is that we just end up riffing from our mental database in a QnA session.
