How to Use This Theme
• God’s Word. As the Psalmist says, God’s Word is the light that shows us where to walk along life’s path. (Psalm 119:105)
• Materialism. Worldly possessions may be a distraction from the true blessings that God has to offer us. (Luke 12:35-40)
• Life in Christ. As followers of Jesus, we are light to a dark and lost world. If we let the light of Christ that is in us shine, we will lead others toward God. (Matthew 5:14-16, John 8:12-20)
• Preparedness. As humans with free will, each one of us is responsible for our own spiritual condition, and must be prepared to light our lamps when Christ returns. (Matthew 25:1-13)
